Sprint To Offer Android 2.1 For HTC Hero And Samsung Moment

Sprint has confirmed (via Twitter) that an Android update will be hitting the Samsung Moment and HTC Hero, granting both mobile phones updates to Android 2.1. It’s great to get an official confirmation on that, though it would have been ever better whether we know when it would be rolled out, though we know it’s sometime during the first half of 2010. There aren’t any

phones in the market that are using Android 2.1, and the Google Nexus One will probably be first, so stay tuned to see the developments.
