Goo.gl To Shorten Your URLs

December 15, 2009 ·Filed Under Technology Reviews

If TinyURL and bit.ly don’t do the job for you, you might want to check out goo.gl, and in case the name didn’ already give it away, it’s a service that’s just been rolled out by Google. The only catch is that it’s currently not a stand-alone service, so you’ll have to use Google Toolbar or FeedBurner in order to churn out those

urls. Google is touting stability, protection and speed as the main benefits of its new service. What do you think? Would you go for it, or are you sticking to bit.ly?
